AuraQuantic launches AI Assistant Q for Business Management

AuraQuantic introduces its AI assistant, Q, a new artificial intelligence feature designed to transform how users interact with the software platform and enhance the user experience.

Q’s primary mission is to assist users in working with AuraQuantic by providing real-time support and streamlining various tasks. It operates through three agents, including a dynamic agent enabling evolution and the incorporation of new agents with additional capabilities.

The first agent within Q is responsible for querying the Knowledge Base, a centralized information repository also available through the AuraQuantic extranet, consisting of documents in HTML format. With the assistant, inquiries about the configuration and functionalities of AuraQuantic are handled faster and more accurately than through manual searches in the repository. Users can ask questions about how to design diagrams, types of workflows, classes of connectors, etc. This service is available to all AuraQuantic customers.

Knowledge Base Agent: Streamlines the search for information about AuraQuantic’s configuration and functionalities, available in the Knowledge Base.

Pathfinder is the second agent designed to assist users within the AuraQuantic workspace, serving as a guide for managing internal processes. Unlike the first agent, Pathfinder only provides answers to queries about pre-configured processes, such as “how to request vacations,” “how to log a purchase,” or “how to request a license”. To ensure the agent can provide information, processes must be configured in advance by the organization’s process owner. To add a process and enable related queries, process owners must follow three steps: access the “data” section from the Q AI assistant, select the “process classes” option, and register a name along with a detailed description of the specific process. Additionally, Pathfinder allows enriched responses to be configured with direct links to initiate the corresponding process. As an added value, the agent operates with its own families of records, including Pathfinder Meta Data, which requires a name and a detailed description for setup.

Pathfinder: Assists users in managing internal processes within the AuraQuantic environment by providing answers to queries about specific preconfigured processes.

These two agents are included by default in all AuraQuantic installations and remain constantly active.

Lastly, there is a third type of agent that does not appear by default in AuraQuantic and requires specific configuration for use. This agent is called Flex, and its main function is to access and process the information contained in the elements of a data record, allowing users to make specialized queries about internal databases.

For example, the support department of a retail company maintains an information record with a technical knowledge base within AuraQuantic. In this case, Flex enables users to ask specific questions like, “I’m facing issue X—how can I solve it?” Unlike the previous agents, which provide general answers about the Knowledge Base, processes, or records, Flex delivers specialized information within a closed environment, tailored to the needs of each department.

If a user needs specific information, such as how to verify whether a customer has a particular type of contract, the Flex agent configured to manage contracts will provide the appropriate response. To enable this, users must upload or load datasets, configure two information fields (title and description), and optionally add two fields that may include links and the date when the agent’s data was last updated or reviewed for upload.

Flex also features a prompting system that adjusts the tone and content of its responses, ensuring they align with the context of each query. For example, when a support technician interacts with a customer, the agent will deliver answers that reflect common issues in that work environment.

Additionally, parameters such as response length and the model’s variability in generated information can be customized. A value of zero ensures that the agent provides answers strictly based on the available data.

As for Flex’s visibility, it is important to note that access is managed through a secure rooms system that restricts which users can interact with the agent. Only those within the secure room will have access to Flex.

Flex: An advanced agent that accesses and processes information contained in data records, enabling specialized queries on internal databases and tailoring responses to the needs of each department and user.

The AI assistant Q is exclusively available in production environments within AuraQuantic (not in development or testing environments). It supports English and Spanish, keeps chat history for 24 hours, and includes a manual reset button to clear the history and start a new conversation without previous data interfering.

Enrique Ortiz, Chief Technology Officer at AuraQuantic, explained during the presentation of the artificial intelligence assistant that “Q’s functionalities will be progressively expanded.” In the future, “the company plans to launch a more advanced agent that will allow users to query all process-related information, organize it, compare it, and extract statistics, charts, and averages, all automatically, without the need for complex configurations.”

Pablo Trilles, CEO of AuraQuantic, noted that “the intelligent assistant Q has just begun its journey and holds extraordinary potential in terms of the capabilities that will be developed in the medium term”. This means that “the company will continue to drive the development of new agents with additional functionalities”. The goal of this presentation, Trilles explained, “is to deliver a compelling value proposition that is truly accessible to our customers, and we’ve accomplished that”. He also highlighted that Q operates within a secure, closed environment exclusive to the AuraQuantic ecosystem, ensuring the level of protection that clients expect. Furthermore, Trilles stated, “interested customers can request custom developments beyond the scope of the AI assistant Q, such as document queries or other features, services that several customers are already leveraging”.
