In 2017, the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of Honduras selected AuraQuantic BPM to implement an intranet with document management, supervision and management of electoral custodians and call center monitoring and management.
The challenge in terms of document management was that TSE did not use digital documents, all documentation from memoranda, internal regulations and quotes to certficatons and minutes were printed on paper, which generated high costs and the risk of losing this documentation. For the period of elections, the implementation of a system to control the entire process of hiring, training and selection of electoral custodians was proposed. The system had to have a platform with secure access for external and internal users.
AuraQuantic is a BPM suite with added value as it is complemented by a powerful document management and intranet module. The implementation of this module automated the document management process and provided a repository for TSE’s key documentation. This made it possible to grant restricted access to the repositories containing digital files of minutes and documents with confidential information. The macroprocess was divided into stages that include automated processes that collect information and assign roles and states to each custodian candidate. To better control custodian performances they implemented two automated processes to support the work of the call center primary service during the elections.
