EPM Gas, Energy, Water & Waste Management Wins the WfMC Award 2017 for Excellence in BPM

These prestigious Global Awards for Excellence in BPM & Workflow recognize user organizations that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative business process solutions to meet strategic business objectives. Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) and BPM.com jointly sponsor the annual Global Awards for Excellence in BPM and Workflow. The Awards program is managed by Future Strategies Inc.

The initial implementation project involved the redesign of the internal air-travel service, using strict process controls and multiple integrations with legacy systems and the airline web services, which has empowered the employees to manage their own travel from beginning to end; a service that was highly dependent on specialized personnel and was extremely time consuming. This has reduced service costs by over 50% and generated improvements in service level agreements of more than 60%.

Due to the success of their initial BPM projects, EPM has developed a culture of continuous improvement for their services. EPM is currently working on structuring a BPM center of excellence, whose main function will be to promote the continuous improvement of business processes, leveraged by improvement techniques and using BPMS and RPA technologies.
